The reason for this is that there has been a rapid increase in the number of doctors as well as dental patients and the government aims to provide better employment opportunities to dentists by increasing employment opportunities.
- It has been observed that India has more than the required number of dentists. This problem can be solved if the availability of dentists is made equal in rural and urban areas.
- This is because many dentists are practicing their skills in urban areas, so if some of them are sent to provide their services in rural areas, there will be equal availability of dentists in both the areas.
- This transfer of sectors will lead to increase in employment opportunities and equitable employment distribution in the public or government sector as well.
- It is expected that the employment rate will increase in the coming years.
- Due to these issues in India, nowadays some students prefer to seek employment in Gulf countries, as it is provided to them along with bigger requirements and extra salary than what is offered in India.
