Conversing to reporters at the RJD headquarters in this article on June 22, 2015, Lalu had then reported, “Upendra Kushwaha pehle idhar ka hi aadmi tha. Woh Jyada din udhar nahi rahega (Kushwaha was before a man of our camp. He will not remain in the NDA for long).”
Lalu’s prophecy proved real on Monday when Kushwaha severed his ties with the BJP-led NDA and also resigned from the Union council of ministers.
Lalu had then also mentioned that Kushwaha was a CM product and would a person working day turn out to be the CM of Bihar.
Lalu had manufactured these remarks about Kushwaha in June 2015, a day after the RLSP, then an ally of NDA, passed a resolution at its govt physique conference, demanding that Kushwaha be made NDA’s main ministerial applicant for 2015 Bihar assembly polls, which held in the thirty day period of Oct and November.
Earlier in the day, Kushwaha identified as a press convention in New Delhi and introduced to stop the NDA a day in advance of Parliament’s wintertime session. He mentioned he was open to signing up for the opposition alliance, which features Lalu’s RJD and the Congress.
