Rahul Gandhi writes to slain cop family; slams VHP, RSS for creating atmosphere of fear | India News

AGRA: On Monday, slain cop Subodh Kumar Singh’s relatives obtained a condolence letter from Congress president Rahul Gandhi, who expressed grief in excess of Syana SHO’s dying and termed it as a nationwide disgrace.

In his letter, Rahul wrote, “It’s a matter of disgrace that these tasked with upholding the rule of regulation are being killed in the name of religion.”

Rahul Gandhi blamed VHP, RSS and other proper-wing groups for generating a sense of dread and violence. His condolence letter read through, “Religious polarization is increasingly currently being utilised by regressive forces to get political mileage, and tear apart our typical bonds. The Yogi Adityanath govt will continue to help fascist forces that seeks to damage our social material.”

“The VHP, RSS and their sister businesses have designed an ambiance of fear and violence with the energetic support of the BJP government. In the harmful natural environment, your father stood out for his bravery and integrity. Bullets are not able to silence his patriotism and determination to our collective humanity,” go through the letter marked to Abhishek Kumar Singh, youngest son of the slain cop.

Talking to TOI, Abhishek Kumar Singh stated, “My father taught us to handle every single religion equally and be humble to everyone. I will not imagine there was any hand of Yogi Adityanath govt powering my father’s death, but yes VHP seems to be supporting and guarding the guys who brought on the violence.”
