Wanted Hizbul terrorist arrested in Jammu and Kashmir’s Kishtwar | India News

JAMMU: A desired Hizbul Mujahideen terrorist, who was luring youths into insurgency, was arrested on Sunday in Kishtwar district of Jammu and Kashmir, a senior law enforcement officer reported.

Reyaz Ahmad, a resident of Sounder Dachhan village and a near affiliate of hardcore terrorist Mohammad Amin alias ‘Jhangir’, was arrested by a law enforcement occasion based on certain facts from the city, Senior Superintendent of Law enforcement, Kishtwar, Rajinder Gupta advised PTI.

He reported numerous shots of Ahmad holding an AK assault rifle experienced gone viral on social media in the the latest earlier and his name also surfaced for the duration of interrogation of two of his associates who have been arrested in the city on July 1.

Next the arrest of his two associates, a scenario was registered at the Kishtwar law enforcement station.

The officer said Ahmad was also associated in a further scenario relevant to militancy in the Parimpora locality of Srinagar.

Some additional arrests and recoveries are envisioned at his disclosure, the officer mentioned, including he was a hardcore motivator encouraging community youth to be part of terrorism.

Jehangir is the longest surviving terrorist lively in the Kishtwar belt, he mentioned.
