Will raise Rafale, RBI autonomy issue in Parliament: Ghulam Nabi Azad | India News

NEW DELHI: The opposition will push for a joint parliamentary committee to probe the Rafale jet deal and raise a number of issues, which includes the misuse of probe organizations and autonomy for RBI, in the wintertime session of Parliament commencing Tuesday, states Congress leader Ghulam Nabi Azad.

Rising from the all-get together conference convened by the governing administration forward of the Winter session, the Leader of the Opposition in the Rajya Sabha on Monday said the opposition will once once again press for the development of a JPC to glimpse into the Rs 58,000 crore Rafale jet offer in which it has alleged corruption.

Azad informed reporters that the situation of alleged misuse of probe organizations by the authorities to settle political scores will also be raised.

The opposition, he explained, will take up the concern of autonomy of the Reserve Financial institution of India in the session.

Amid a tussle among the federal government and the RBI, opposition parties have accused the NDA regime of striving to problems every single establishment in the nation by interfering in their autonomy and alleged the central bank was becoming forced to “open financial institution funding” to defaulting corporates.
